It was a perfect summer evening for Danielle and Josh's engagement session at Craggy Gardens. We met up in the parking lot where there were clear blue skies welcoming us up the trail, saying "You won't need those ponchos you said you'd bring just in case". The rhododendrons were still blooming and some even shedding their purple petals along the path which made it feel like a fairytale was unfolding. Once we reached the top the clouds started rolling in, rather quickly, but we still made it out to *the* rock for a few frames. Then it started sprinkling, then it started to rain, THEN it started to pour! Luckily Danielle and Josh listened to my advice, my advice which I didn't take, to bring a poncho in case it rained, so we had a little bit of coverage for the cameras but not us. Needless to say, we took full advantage of the rain on the way down and once we got back to the parking lot. This was one of those engagement sessions that really has a story to tell of the day-- thanks to all that rain! Enjoy!
